Where are we headed?

Computers and technology both bring us together and isolate us.

It more easily facilitates our deep seated need for interaction with others. But with less and less actual physical interaction or contact required. Or even to hear each others voice.

We rely increasingly on the tone deaf medium of typed characters on screen to convey our point. As an aside: statistically the context of nearly 70% of all text messages are misunderstood . And that is between 2 people whom know eachothers relatively well. But is that really a surprise when you consider nearly all meaning conveyed in conversation is done by body language, gesture, nuance and inflection of tone.
