Life is always moving forward...

Photobucket

I've been busy with projects in real life... Here's the most recent one... he's 13 months when this photo was taken. Enjoying his recently found ability to walk, shuffle and run. Alex is a blessing and we are thankful everyday for him and his brother and sister Austin & Katie.

Hope everyone had a nice and peaceful Thanksgiving.

All the cool kids are doing it...

Where are we headed?

Computers and technology both bring us together and isolate us.

It more easily facilitates our deep seated need for interaction with others. But with less and less actual physical interaction or contact required. Or even to hear each others voice.

We rely increasingly on the tone deaf medium of typed characters on screen to convey our point. As an aside: statistically the context of nearly 70% of all text messages are misunderstood . And that is between 2 people whom know eachothers relatively well. But is that really a surprise when you consider nearly all meaning conveyed in conversation is done by body language, gesture, nuance and inflection of tone.

You will always get what you've always gotten.

Primoris Constituo

Bob(cat) Goldthwaite once said, "voting is like going into a porno shop and being forced to choose which dildo is going to hurt the least."

Let us hope, collectively, that we made the right decision. With the soaring cost of Healthcare can any of us really afford the stitches needed to sew our pucker back together?
